Training 2010 Schedule
This minimum of 14 hours training is based on the
ODMRDD curriculum and meets all of the
course objectives as outlined by the
State of Ohio. Included are Health
Related Activities, legal documentation,
safe administration of medications,
preventing and reporting medication
errors, and recognizing/reacting in
emergency situations.

Training for Subcutaneous Insulin
Injection
This minimum of 4 hours training is based on the
ODMRDD curriculum and meets all of the
Course Objectives as outlined by the
State of Ohio. Included are:
- 2 Types of Diabetes
- Signs, Symptoms and treatment of Diabetes
- Glucometer
- Injection
- Diet and Exercise
- Foot Care
- Complications of Uncontrolled Diabetes
- Infection Control/Care of Sharps
- Documentation Requirements
- Nursing

- Procedure to be

for Insulin
