This minimum of 14 hours training is based on the
ODMRDD curriculum and meets all of the
course objectives as outlined by the
State of Ohio. Included are Health
Related Activities, legal documentation,
safe administration of medications,
preventing and reporting medication
errors, and recognizing/reacting in
emergency situations.

Continuing Education Medication
Administration 2009 Schedule
Dispense, Document, and Disclose
This 2 hour training will review safe
and accurate medication administration
techniques, the 6 RIGHTS of medication
administration, maintaining accurate and
detailed records, and recognizing,
reporting, and preventing medication
errors. Skills checklist for medication
administration and health related
activities will be completed the third
hour at no additional cost.
