MEORC and EM Media Receives Telly Award

Congratulations MEORC and EM Media for your Telly Award! Thank you to our social media communities that like and share our videos; you made this award possible!

The Mid-East Ohio Regional Council (MEORC) in partnership with EM Media received a Telly Award for the “Always There” campaign. The press conference was held Friday, October 26, at 11am, at Theo’s Restaurant, located at 632 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio, 43725.

The “Always There” campaign, created by the team at EM-Media in Steubenville, Ohio, won a bronze Telly Award in the Campaign/Not-for-Profit Branded Content category. The campaign featured testimonial videos from those that the campaign has supported, specifically those with developmental disabilities, and their families. The “Always There” campaign highlighted six individuals from several counties in our region who, with MEORC’s support, now lead more independent, person-centered lives.

MEORC provides innovative products and services to 19-member county boards, providers, and to people with developmental disabilities in Mid-East Ohio. MEORC is known for their expertise in facilitating cooperation, collaboration and problem solving to improve services, creating opportunities for people to be included and building strong communities in the most efficient and effective ways. MEORC was created by member boards that recognized they shared common concerns and desires to provide the best possible services to persons with developmental disabilities in their respective counties. Through this collaboration, individuals are being supported to have the person-centered life they choose from the supports of the county boards.

The “Always There” campaign was born out of the Ohio Association of County Boards (OACB) and MEORC’s collaboration with EM-Media, with the goal of sharing the hopes and dreams of individuals within each member county that were made possible by the county boards who truly are “always there.”
