Family Support Services

Family Support Services

How does it work?

Mid East Ohio Regional Council (MEORC) is the administrator for Family Support Services (FSS) program on behalf of the participating County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (CBDD). Approved applicants will have access to funds authorized by the CBDD policy. Use the weblinks below to review the appropriate CBDD FSS policy. Approved applicants shall submit requests for eligible FSS items via email (FSS@meorc.com), including a weblink, a detailed description (including quantity, size, color, style, etc.) and pictures (when possible) of the requested item. Those who are unable to submit the requested item via email may contact MEORC FSS representatives by alternative methods specified below. MEORC will review and determine if the requested item(s) meet the guidelines specified in the CBDD FSS policy. Eligible items for purchase will be ordered and shipped directly to you. Order details (confirmation) will be sent to you. If the item is deemed ineligible you will be notified in the same method the request was made.

How do claims for respite and mileage get paid?

Service verification forms for respite and mileage for medical, therapy, and specialist appointment mileage will be obtained from and submitted to MEORC FSS. A weblink to both the FSS Respite (including W-9) and Mileage forms are provided below.
